Community Guidelines

ZimanGo's community (quotes, chat rooms, leaderboards) exists so people can learn Kurdish together, joyfully. These rules keep it kind and safe. They apply to everything you post, share or send on the Service, and they are part of our Terms of Use.

Be kind: we're all learners

Everyone here is learning, from first words to fluent speakers of different dialects. Encourage, don't mock. Mistakes are how we learn.

2

No harassment or bullying

Don't insult, threaten, intimidate, shame or pile on other users, whether in quotes, comments or chat rooms. If someone asks you to stop contacting them, stop.

3

No hate speech

Attacks on people based on ethnicity, religion, dialect, language, gender, sexuality, disability or nationality have no place here, in any language.

4

Keep it appropriate

No sexual, violent, shocking or otherwise adult content. Learners of all ages use ZimanGo. Sexual content involving minors is reported to the authorities.

5

Protect personal information

Don't share your own private details (phone number, address, school) in public areas or chat, and never ask other users, especially minors, for theirs.

6

Be yourself

No impersonating other people, moderators or ZimanGo staff, and no fake accounts made to deceive, evade a suspension or manipulate leaderboards.

7

No spam or self-promotion

Don't flood chat or quotes with repeated messages, ads, links or off-topic promotion. Share your love of the language, not your marketing.

8

Respect creators' rights

Only share content you have the right to share. If you believe something infringes your copyright, use the notice procedure in our Terms.

9

Play fair

No cheating, exploiting bugs, or manipulating XP, streaks, leagues or the leaderboard. It spoils the game for everyone racing you to the summit.

10

Nothing illegal

Don't use ZimanGo to do, promote or organise anything unlawful, and don't post content that breaks the law anywhere you or your audience are.

Reporting & blocking

If you see something that breaks these rules, report it: use the report options in the app where available, or email help@zimango.app with a screenshot or description. You can also block users you don't want to hear from. Reports are confidential; the person you report is not told who reported them.

What happens when rules are broken

Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, issue a warning, restrict features (such as chat), or suspend or terminate an account. Repeat or severe violations mean losing access to ZimanGo. Where we remove your content or restrict your account, we will tell you why, where the law requires it. Illegal content is removed and, where appropriate, reported to the authorities.

Appeals

If you think we got a decision wrong, email help@zimango.app within 30 days and tell us what happened. A human will look at it again. We aim to respond within 14 days.
